Located on the breathtaking beachfront of Soliman Bay, Tulum. Sombras del Viento (Shadows of the Wind) is the utmost perfect luxury villa for your dream vacation. This 7-bedroom boho-chic beachfront villa is the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. A pristine spot for nature lovers to relax under the coconut palms, kayak through the bay, and snorkel in the reef. The villa can accommodate up to 16 people with the intention of offering both independence via private room entrances and intimacy with large communal areas for the entire group to come together and enjoy one another.

Located in Soliman Bay, just 15 minutes north of Tulum, Sombras del Viento sits on one of the most private and coveted coastal residential areas in the Riviera Maya. The bay is famous for its calm waters, world-class snorkeling, and tranquil family atmosphere, while remaining close to the unique cenotes, Mayan ruins, and the bustling nightlife of Tulum. While admiring the magnificent colors of the Caribbean Sea, this tropical haven is a natural setting for total relaxation.

The villa décor is a combination of local handmade materials, blended with luxurious finishes. This interior ambiance connects with the breathtaking ocean views, making Sombras del Viento the perfect place to escape and relax.

BORA: has a private living room, kitchen and one king size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a large covered private terrace overlooking the beach. Bora is located on the ground floor steps away from the pool and beach. Perfect for accommodating two people.

SIROCCO: has a living room, and kitchen as well as two private entrances one on the beach side and another on the jungle side. One king size bedroom faces the ocean with an ensuite bathroom and a large beachside terrace in front. A second room is nestled on the other side of the living room with one queen size bed and one single bed facing the tropical jungle. This bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom and a large private terrace facing the garden. Sirocco is also located on the ground floor just steps away from the pool or beach. Perfect for accommodating up to five people.

MISTRAL: On the second and third levels, you will be thrilled with the beauty of the panorama that awaits you. Large common spaces, allow you to convene and admire the beauty as an entire group. A generous outdoor dining room awaits under the grand palapa with wonderful ocean breezes and views. Inside, a large indoor dining room with captivating ocean views sits adjacent to the living room and kitchen. Stepping out of the living room and onto the covered terrace, you have a perfect view of the beach and pool below.

In addition to these common areas, the Mistral features four separate bedrooms, two on each level. These four bedrooms are perfect for accommodating up to nine people.

The first bedroom features a large king size bed, ocean view, and an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom also has a terrace facing the ocean, fully equipped with hammock and comfy outdoor furniture, perfect for watching the sunrise or reading a book.

The second bedroom on this level also features a king size bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a private terrace facing the lush jungle.

On the top floor, under the palapa with panoramic views of the whole bay and the jungle, you will discover the last two bedrooms, as well as a game room. The first bedroom has a lovely ocean view with two single beds and a bathroom that is shared with the game room. Just down the hallway, another large ocean view bedroom features a king size bed, a single bed, and an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom also has a private terrace with a hammock, where you will enjoy the beautiful picture-frame view of the bay.

If you are looking for the perfect place for a wedding, family reunion, or a gathering of friends? In keeping with the exterior decor of the Villa, we have recently added a large outdoor kitchen including an Oceanside Grand Palapa dining area or dancing floor. The complete kitchen includes standard appliances, as well as a domed pizza oven. The kitchen area includes 27’ of bar top, accompanied by hanging swings for the guests. The Oceanside Grand Palapa includes more than 450 square feet of floor space and accommodates 16 guests at hand-designed wooden tables. This area also includes a high-top bar table and stools, all locally crafted from native woods. After a dinner under this palapa, move the tables aside to provide an ideal dance floor, complete with a sound system for your favorite music. What a finale’ to a perfect day!

We have also recently enhanced the entrance gardens with hundreds of lush plantings, tastefully accented by outdoor lighting to reveal private enclosures for sitting, reading, and conversing.

On the beach side of the Villa are two pool areas, with varying depths of water. The pool area is complete with plenty of comfortable seating. As you walk past the pools, heading toward the shore, there is a platformed deck area with couches that look onto the ocean breakers . . . or you can choose to take a snooze in one of the four hammocks strapped to the shady palm trees. Lots of options for a lazy day!

The Villa is only accessible through the Soliman Bay security gate and is highly private and secure.
